Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for mechanical works across wind project sites
- Inspect and verify WTG erection, tower installation, nacelle assembly, hub installation, and related mechanical activities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, OEM requirements, and industry standards
- Conduct incoming material inspections and maintain quality records
- Review Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and quality documentation
- Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, OEM representatives, and third-party agencies
- Identify non-conformities (NCRs), perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Monitor site quality performance and ensure timely closure of quality observations and punch points
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover activities
- Promote a strong quality culture while adhering to HSE requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Certification in Quality Management, NDT, or Welding Inspection will be an added advantage
Experience:
- 5-12 years of QA/QC experience in EPC, Power, Infrastructure, or Renewable Energy projects
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Wind Energy projects preferred
- Exposure to WTG erection, mechanical installation, and commissioning activities
