As we continue to expand our renewable energy footprint, we are looking for an accomplished Project Director – Wind EPC to lead the execution of large-scale wind energy projects and drive operational excellence across multiple project locations. This role will serve as a key execution leader, working closely with the Director to transform strategic objectives into on-ground project success while ensuring predictable delivery across the IPP portfolio.
Location: Pune/Pan India
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end execution of Wind EPC projects from site mobilization, erection, commissioning, and final handover.
- Drive project schedules, milestone achievement, resource planning, and execution strategies while maintaining strict compliance with contractual commitments and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Construction, and O&M teams to ensure seamless project delivery and timely availability of resources.
- Provide leadership across Civil BoP, Electrical BoP, Mechanical Erection, Electrical Works, and Commissioning activities while proactively mitigating project risks.
- Champion a culture of Zero LTI (Lost Time Injury), safety excellence, quality assurance, and environmental compliance across all project sites.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships, including DISCOMs, SLDC, CEIG, regulatory authorities, contractors, and clients to ensure timely approvals and grid connectivity.
- Monitor project budgets, cash flows, cost optimization initiatives, and commercial performance to protect project margins and support business growth.
Who We’re Looking For:
- 18+ years of experience in Wind Power Project Execution / EPC Projects.
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience managing large, complex, or multi-project portfolios.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (MBA preferred).
- Strong expertise in Wind EPC lifecycle management, WTG erection, BoP execution, project planning tools (MS Project/Primavera), stakeholder management, and regulatory processes.
